This project overhauled an engineer-built software for monitoring and optimizing large scale robotic production, focused on advanced machining for aerospace and defense components. As the sole designer surrounded by engineers, I lead the creation of an entirely new brand and design system for the application development for a consistent user experience. The software surfaces detailed job analysis, empowering quality control teams to detect and predict issues early.
I designed a flexible design system to support developers in building custom workflows for rapidly evolving client requests. I also refined the scoring system to make performance metrics, based on Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), more intuitive and easier to explore, enhancing user understanding and interaction. My work bridged complex technical analysis with accessible insights to surface clear and actionable performance indicators and trends.
